Where do you source your seaweed from?

We utilise a seaweed research center in Tasmania who source pure high quality seaweed to make extracts fucoidan seaweed extracts that are certified organic and TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) listed. We use these extracts in our seaweed based cream products. For our soap bars we use organic seaweed (Bull Kelp) naturally harvested from North West Tasmania.

Are your products vegan?

Yes! All of our ingredients are vegan and of course are not tested on animals. We love animals.

What is your packaging made from? 

Our airless bottles are made from food grade polypropylene that has been certified for organic use and is recyclable. Our Balancing Face Mist bottles are made from frosted glass and can be reused or recycled.

Why airless bottles?

Our products are designed to provide maximum nourishment for skin, therefore we use minimal level of natural emulsifiers which results in a delicate formula that needs to be protected from air and light. These formulas allow for maximum penetration of the products to the skin.

Can I reuse the travel size bottles to refill from my full sized bottles.

Yes! You can wedge off the tops of your mini bottles then use a long skinny object such as a chopstick to push the airless system back down. Ensure the lid is on top of you pump/cap then push the top back down until you here a clicking noise.

Where are your products made?

All of our products are handcrafted from scratch in our apothecary in far south Tasmania, Australia.

What is the shelf life of your products?

We recommend using your product within 6 months of opening. We use natural Ecocert preservatives derived from aniseed (sodium anisate) and plant fiber (sodium levulinate) that helps protect our creams from bacteria but does not cause any harm or sensitivities to us or our skin.

Do your products contain any nut oils?

Yes we use Tamanu oil in our Purifying Cream Cleanser and use Macadamia and Almond Oil in our Nourishing Body Lotion. All other products are nut free.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We try to source most of our ingredients from Tasmania and Australia, where we choose certified organic and food grade where possible. Since Natasha is a qualified naturopath this gives us access to practitioner grade ingredients that are quality tested and are of an extremely high quality.

Is your skincare really natural?

Yes. Our goal is to become certified organic, therefore we only use ingredients that are accepted by organic chemistry standards, and are naturally derived.

Is your skincare suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our skincare was designed especially for those with sensitive skin. We do not use any fragrances and only use very low levels of essential oils and only in our wash-of products. We do not use any sulphates which foam and irritate the skin, and do not use any parabens, synthetic fragrances, benzoins or other known irritants.

Do your products contain alcohol?

No. We use only glycerine or water based extracts or infused oils. The ingredient listed in our cream as "cetyl alcohol’ is a natural waxy substance derived from coconut oil that is a natural emulsifier and is not alcohol based. In contrast to true alcohol extracts which can be quite drying and irritating to the skin, this natural emulsifier is benign and moisturising to the skin.
